Brand-New Mindfulness and Wellbeing Event for Stonham Barns Park

A holistic collaboration between Orion Events and Stonham Barns Park – one of Suffolk’s premier leisure, retail and holiday venues – will introduce a brand-new mind, body and spirit and crafts event this July.

The Calm at the Barn Festival 2024 will include indoor and outdoor activities and free workshops to encourage visitors to embrace a more mindful approach to life to improve wellness.  The event will cover everything for the mind and soul, from psychic powers to crystal healing and feminine empowerment to relaxations and therapies derived from yoga, meditations, EFT tapping and drumming circles.  There will even be mediumship demonstrations for those with an interest in the wider spirit world and music and workshops until 10.00pm on Saturday evening.

Add to this enchanting and rejuvenating healing sessions, handmade crafts, sparkling crystals, precious jewellery and tarot and palm readings.

Says organiser Jenny Wild, ‘We will be bringing together some top therapists and MBS practitioners from the region – to the delightful mid-Suffolk venue at Stonham Barns Park – to bring solace and tranquillity to those who feel in need of a break from the stresses and strains of

everyday life.’

‘As life has got so much faster for everyone, and we all need to slow things down in order to keep balanced to enjoy living in the moment.  We all need to stop and think about what is good for us, what makes us feel more safe and secure and what brings us happiness.  It’s just essential to keep calm and we will be bringing live workshops and demonstrations to people from all over the region who want to become more ‘self’ centred.’

‘This is the year to try something new, maybe yoga, crystal healing or meditation.  We will have everything on display for visitors and want to encourage everyone to take part in the activities to find out what works for them.  It’s going to be a weekend of mindfulness which is something that puts us back in focus with what’s important to us.  We are so looking forward to bringing this wonderful mind, body and soul experience weekend to Stonham Barns Park and seeing the benefits it brings to the people of mid-Suffolk, Norfolk, Cambridgeshire and beyond.’

For the children there will be a special Kids at the Barn area hosted by children’s workshop organisers The Invisible Gorillas.  It is here that they can have fun with bubbles, crafts, hair braiding, face painting, story-time, and even a tree house of happiness meditation; and there will also be a dedicated men’s health and wellbeing area with meditations, advice, and guidance.
