always ‘evolving’ Japanese car and bike brands come together for one

big summer show

Stonham Barns Park – one of Suffolk’s premier leisure, holiday and retail venues – is hosting a brand-new show for 2024 on Sunday 7 July featuring around 300 Japanese cars.

The East Coast Japanese club will present the Shinka Japanese Car Show exhibiting cars, trucks and motorcycles synonymous with evolution, high technology and reliability from the most popular Japanese car and bike brands including Honda, Toyota, Lexus, Daihatsu, Infiniti, Nissan, Subaru, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Kawasaki, Yamaha and Suzuki. The show – for performance and classic cars and bikes – will display a huge array of cars and bikes from Japan’s awesome 100-year car history during which time the brands have pioneered robotics, hybrid and electric car production.

East Coast Japanese is an East Anglian-based club which has been holding car and coffee meets for the past five years and is now evolving to its first show.  Show and shine applicants are invited to join in the day of fun after applying to [email protected] before 16 June (with at least five images of the car to be displayed over the weekend).  Individual and Club Stands are also welcome to join in the show but must have at least five cars on each stand and also apply to the club ahead of the deadline date.

Says East Coast Japanese Club Owner Courtney Barker: ‘Japanese cars have a unique style and finesse all their own and then there’s the exceptional performance and smooth ride.  What’s not to like?’

‘We are all totally dedicated to our club and are looking forward to sharing our passion with other car and bike enthusiasts from the East of England.’

‘We encourage owners to bring their modern and classic rides to the show and meet other owners with a shared love of everything Japanese.  And to those who have not yet become an enthusiast, come along and see what the amazing evolution (or Shinka) looks like across a dynamic and fast-emerging range of cars, trucks and bikes.’

‘As proud owners, we are super excited to be bringing together some of East Anglia’s finest Japanese cars at Stonham Barns Park for the first of what we hope will be many showcase events.’

‘It’s going to be one big fun, summer show!’

Trophies up for grabs on the day will cover Show and Shine Winner, Best Bay, Best Wheels, Best Classic Pre 2000, Best Modern Post 2000, Best in Show and Best Club Stand.
