A three-day festival at The Barn at Stonham Barns Park

The second much-loved Stonham Barns Park Country Music Festival of the year is returning to the leisure, holiday and retail destination on (Friday to Sunday) 24 to 26 October featuring county music bands and artists from across the region.

The Country Music Festivals are part of the Stonham Sounds calendar of events introduced by the owners of Stonham Barns Park to showcase more musical talent in mid-Suffolk.  The events bring a diverse range of live music and entertainment to the venue.

This year’s autumn BarnFest is presented by country music legends Ray Smith – also known as Countryholic – and Pat Murphy and will feature Bob Whiting, Rory O’Neill,  The Ian Highland Band, Steve Chase, Chris Johno Johnson, Kevin Barry, Bob Keeley and the Kenny Jnr over the course of the weekend.

Weekend tickets are on sale for £60 per person (camping not included).

Food and drink will be available throughout the weekend. There is a large camping area for caravans, motorhomes or tents – hook ups will be available for caravans.  For those who do not own their own home on wheels or under canvas there are 4, 6 or 8 berth static holiday homes to hire.

Said David Sandpearl from Stonham Barns Park, ‘The demand for country music events continues and we are delighted to be putting on this second music and dance BarnFest this autumn.  It has such a dedicated following and we are looking forward to developing the event further in the future.’

‘As we like to say this is a little bit of Nashville the heart of Suffolk.’

‘Book tickets or turn up on the day – everyone’s welcome.’

Organiser Ray Smith continues, ‘Following on from our June festival which was a great success we will again be pushing the limits, breaking boundaries and loving the country music.’

‘We are back to bring the best country music around to the people of Suffolk and it will be non-stop.  Whether people attend for the whole weekend or for just one of the sessions, it will be an autumn treat for everyone who enjoys live music.’

‘This is one for line dancers everywhere! Steel guitars, violins and banjos have now been joined by a more country rocking sound but the mix is something that is attracting more followers and so we are open to the new line up to make country more inclusive.’

Stonham Barns Park is a day out for all the family to suit all ages. Other activities at the leisure, retail and holiday venue include The Suffolk Owl Sanctuary, Café 24 Restaurant, The Golf Centre including Adventure Golf and FootGolf, Legends Sports Bar, The Teapot Pottery, Teapot Cafe, holiday lodges, a caravan park, camping and glamping, Tumbledown indoor play barn and fishing lakes.
